Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney has resisted calls to make his tax history public — following the protocol that his father George started by releasing 12 years of tax returns during his presidential run in 1967 — leaving the details of his massive fortune shrouded in mystery.

David Cay Johnston believes that “there’s something in [Romney’s tax returns] that the governor doesn’t want us to see.” So, in a web exclusive from MSNBC’s “The Last Word,” he asks five questions about Romney’s taxes — and gives Romney his cell phone number so he can respond and clear the air.
